Actress Kim Hye Soo delighted fans on September 26 by sharing a video with actor Cha Seung Won, marking their first public reunion in 24 years. In the clip, the two are seen warmly holding hands and posing affectionately, capturing attention with their enduring chemistry.
The pair previously starred together in the 2001 film 'Kick the Moon,' and their rare two-shot after more than two decades immediately drew buzz. Now in their 50s, both stars continue to exude elegance and charisma, seemingly untouched by time.
Their reunion also drew additional attention due to their shared connection with actor Yoo Hae Jin. Cha Seung Won is famously known as Yoo’s closest friend in the entertainment industry, while Kim Hye Soo was in a highly publicized relationship with Yoo from 2008 until their amicable split in 2011. Despite parting ways, Kim and Yoo have remained close colleagues, often exchanging warm greetings at award ceremonies and even reuniting for a photoshoot in 2021 when 'Tazza: The High Rollers' was re-released 15 years after its original premiere.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye Soo is set to appear in the upcoming tvN drama 'Second Signal,' scheduled to air next year. Cha Seung Won recently starred in director Park Chan Wook’s latest film 'No Other Choice,' which premiered on September 24.
