On September 5, Daesung revealed YG Entertainment’s much-rumored “secret room” belonging to executive producer Yang Hyun Suk through his YouTube channel ZIP DAESUNG.
The episode titled 'YG Tour with TREASURE | Former YG Employee in the house | ZIP DAESUNG ep.73' featured Daesung touring YG’s new headquarters alongside TREASURE members Choi Hyunsuk, Hamada Asahi, Haruto, and Park Jeongwoo.
During the tour, TREASURE members introduced the basement recording studio when Choi Hyunsuk hinted at the existence of a mysterious space by saying, “We have to go to Yang Hyun Suk’s room. There’s a secret room.” Haruto added, “It can only be opened with a fingerprint,” while Park Jeongwoo admitted, “Even we haven’t been inside yet,” which raised anticipation.
Daesung responded playfully and joked, “A secret room? Like Harry Potter’s? Yang-ry Potter?” However, when the group reached the door it unexpectedly opened with ease. Daesung acted surprised and said, “If this opens any further, am I going to get electrocuted?” which drew laughter from viewers.
The “secret room” turned out to be Yang Hyun Suk’s private office and monitoring room. Impressed by the cozy setup, Daesung commented, “It’s perfectly designed for comfortable monitoring. This is really nice.” The TREASURE members who were also seeing the space for the first time expressed their amazement as well.
At the end of the episode, Daesung left behind a thoughtful gift, a customized ZIP DAESUNG pillow for Yang Hyun Suk, wrapping up the tour on a warm note.
