Jun.K has opened up about the possibility of full-group activities for 2PM.
In an interview with SPOTV News to mark the release of his fourth mini album "Dear My Muse," he said honestly, “Nothing has been decided yet regarding 2PM’s activities, but I think we need to start preparing something.”
"Dear My Muse" is a message to someone who inspires him and becomes his muse. It is Jun.K’s first mini album in about four years and nine months since his third mini album "20 Minutes" in December 2020, and his first new release in a year since his digital single "Paint This Love" in August 2024. Jun.K participated in the production of all the songs, infusing the album with his own style.
Notably, fellow 2PM member Wooyoung is also making his solo comeback around the same time. On this, Jun.K said, “I kept seeing Wooyoung’s teasers coming out, and I thought he looked really good in them. I’m really happy we’re both promoting at the same time.”
Asked if they exchanged feedback on their albums, Jun.K laughed and replied, “Not at all.” He explained, “I knew Wooyoung’s schedule was really tight. I respect him as an artist, so I didn’t want to add to his stress.”
He added, “Even if we didn’t talk about the songs, Wooyoung sent me a coffee truck, and I sent one to him as well. Junho also sent one when I was filming the track video.” His words reflected the strong friendship still present among 2PM members.

On the topic of a full-group comeback, Jun.K said, “To be honest, nothing has been decided. But when we meet, we talk about how it’s been too long since we’ve done 2PM activities, and how there are still people supporting us but we’re not doing enough. That’s why we’ve been discussing that maybe it’s time to prepare something.”
When asked if his musical direction has changed after nearly five years, Jun.K replied, “Nothing has changed. It’s not about changing genres, but I think I’ve been thinking more about how my music is perceived by the public. I’m still pursuing R&B and pop music.”
Earlier this year, from January to March, Jun.K successfully held his solo tour ‘Jun. K Solo Tour 2025 ‘ON’’ in Nagoya, Osaka, and Yokohama. Last month, he also wrapped up his ‘Jun. K Summer Room Tour: Spicy’ in Osaka, Yokohama, and Taipei.
Now in his 17th year since debut, Jun.K expressed gratitude for the enduring support he still receives at home and abroad. “Just a few days ago I went to Taipei, and I was thankful to see people still supporting 2PM and me. I feel I need to give back, not just stay still, but continue showing fans what they want to see. When I go on stage, I feel I need to be sincere and do well,” he said. “JYP’s Park Jin Young is amazing for continuing for so long. Even if I can’t be exactly like him, I know that being able to have a long career is the greatest fortune, and I want to be an artist who can last for a long time.”
Jun.K’s "Dear My Muse" will be released on September 1 at 6 p.m. on various online music platforms.
