Kim Jong Min has offered thoughtful advice to fellow Koyote member Shinji, who is currently facing public scrutiny following the announcement of her upcoming marriage.
In a video posted on July 17 to the YouTube channel 'Eotteoshinji,' Shinji, Kim Jong Min, and Bbaekga candidly discussed their feelings about the controversy that erupted after Shinji revealed she was engaged to singer Moon Won, who is seven years her junior.
Kim Jong Min acknowledged the attention surrounding the announcement and urged Shinji to take her time to reflect. “Since so many people are sharing their thoughts, listen to everything and think it through. Take your time to figure out what’s truly best for you,” he said. His sincere words stood in stark contrast to a previous moment on a broadcast where he had jokingly referred to the engagement as a “possible happening,” marking a noticeable shift in tone.
Bbaekga also chimed in, saying, “I’ve stopped reading the comments. There’s just so much being said. But I believe it all comes from people who care.” He offered support to Shinji during this difficult time.

Shinji expressed her gratitude and concern, stating, “I couldn’t help but read the comments. Knowing that so many people care, I felt a heavy weight and started worrying about whether this might negatively impact the group.” She added, “But going through this made me realize how many silent fans have been supporting us. I truly appreciate the heartfelt encouragement and concern.”
Shinji recently announced that she will marry Moon Won, but not long after, rumors about Moon Won’s past began circulating online, sparking controversy. Despite the speculation, the couple is reportedly planning to hold their wedding in the first half of 2026.
