MC Mong, the executive producer of One Hundred Label, has stepped down from his duties as of June 13, citing personal reasons.

However, questions have emerged regarding whether his sudden withdrawal is connected to the recent scandal involving Ju Hak Nyeon of boy group The Boyz.

On June 18, One Hundred Label officially announced that Ju Hak Nyeon would be excluded from future activities with The Boyz. The decision follows a report by Japanese outlet Shūkan Bunshun, which alleged that Ju Hak Nyeon had visited a private bar in Tokyo last month with acquaintances and former adult film actress Asuka Kirara. The report described affectionate behavior between the two, sparking public controversy.

Previously, on June 13, One Hundred Label stated that MC Mong would be stepping back from his responsibilities, including his role as executive producer, due to personal matters. MC Mong co-founded the label with Chairwoman Cha Ga Won and has also served as an internal director at BPM Entertainment, a subsidiary company.

The timing of MC Mong’s departure has led to speculation that he may have been present at the controversial gathering involving Ju Hak Nyeon, although this has not been confirmed. His silence on the matter has only fueled further questions.

According to the agency, One Hundred Label had already identified the situation before the public report emerged. On June 16, just two days prior to the news breaking, the company decided to terminate Ju Hak Nyeon’s exclusive contract and remove him from the team. "Due to personal issues involving Ju Hak Nyeon, we have decided to suspend his activities," the agency stated. "After sufficient discussion, we reached a final decision on his departure from the group and termination of the contract."

Ju Hak Nyeon rose to fame through his appearance on Mnet’s 'Produce 101 Season 2' in April 2017 and debuted as a member of The Boyz in December of the same year.

As of now, MC Mong has not made any public statement regarding the allegations.
