On June 18, former The Boyz member Ju Hak Nyeon is under intense scrutiny after reports surfaced that he allegedly paid former Japanese adult video (AV) actress Asuka Kirara for sexual services during a private meeting in Tokyo.
According to multiple media outlets including TenAsia and Shūkan Bunshun, Ju Hak Nyeon met Asuka Kirara at a private bar in Tokyo’s Roppongi district on May 29, 2025. The two were reportedly seen drinking together and displaying physical intimacy. It was further alleged that Ju paid Kirara following a private encounter that same night.
Initially, Ju Hak Nyeon is said to have denied the claims. However, he reportedly admitted to the allegations after his agency presented him with evidence during an internal investigation. His agency, One Hundred Label, later confirmed that his contract was terminated, citing serious misconduct and a complete loss of trust.
Prostitution is illegal for South Korean citizens even when committed abroad. Under the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic, offenders may face up to one year of imprisonment or a fine of up to three million KRW.
Asuka Kirara, once a top figure in Japan’s AV industry, has since transitioned into modeling and mainstream media. Neither she nor her management has commented publicly on the incident.
In an official statement, One Hundred Label apologized to fans for the situation and confirmed Ju Hak Nyeon’s permanent departure from both the agency and The Boyz. They stated they would continue supporting the remaining members in a stable and healthy environment.

Ju Hak Nyeon debuted with The Boyz in 2017 and remained active in the group until June 2025.
