IVE continues to expand their global reach with a dazzling appearance on Japanese television.
On June 14, the girl group performed on NHK’s popular music show ‘Venue 101’, where they delivered the first-ever televised performance of their Japanese original single ‘DARE ME’. In addition to the stage performance, the members also engaged in a lighthearted talk segment, sharing favorite songs from a decade ago, food preferences, and playing the “apartment game” with charming enthusiasm.
Wearing coordinated red-toned outfits, the members brought cheerful energy to the studio. Their performance of ‘DARE ME’, released on April 21 as the opening theme of the NTV Sunday drama ‘Dame Mane! - Unpopular Talent, Now Under Management!’, stood out for its dreamy vocals and clever choreography featuring benches as props. Paired movements between members — such as Gaeul and Rei, and An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung — further emphasized the warmth and emotional undertones of the song.

Following its release, ‘DARE ME’ ranked on several Japanese music charts, including Billboard Japan’s ‘Hot Shot Songs’ and ‘Download Songs’, LINE Music’s weekly ‘Top 100’, and Rakuten Music’s latest weekly chart, highlighting IVE’s strong popularity in the Japanese market.
This performance adds to the group’s consistent momentum in Japan. Last year, IVE took the stage at the country’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024’, and the fashion event ‘Tokyo Girls Collection’. During their world tour ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’, they became the first Korean artist to perform at K-Arena Yokohama and even made their debut at the iconic Tokyo Dome.
Their Japanese fan concert tour ‘IVE SCOUT IN JAPAN’, held across four cities, drew over 100,000 attendees, solidifying their rising status. More recently, they appeared on the popular music YouTube channel ‘THE FIRST TAKE’, delivering a flawless one-take performance of ‘After LIKE’, impressing viewers with their live vocal talent.
IVE is currently promoting their sixth season of their self-produced reality show ‘1.2.3 IVE’, continuing to charm fans through a variety of activities at home and abroad.
