Heize has expressed deep disappointment over the sudden cancellation of her scheduled appearance at ‘2025 My K FESTA in Gyeongju’, citing critical technical issues on site.
On June 8, Heize took to her personal social media account to share a message with fans. She explained that she had arrived in Gyeongju the previous day and was eagerly preparing to meet her audience. She went to the venue at 4 p.m. as scheduled, anticipating the show, but was met with unexpected on-site difficulties. “Due to sound system problems at the venue, not only was the performance canceled, but even a rehearsal couldn’t take place,” she explained.
To the fans who had waited for her performance, Heize offered a heartfelt apology. She expressed her regret and hopes to meet fans again soon, noting that she is sharing her words through a message since she couldn’t do so in person.
‘2025 My K FESTA in Gyeongju’ is a major Hallyu culture festival selected as part of a government-linked initiative. Held over two days from June 7 to 8, its core program, ‘K-GMF (K-Gyeongju Music Festa)’, featured eight mini concerts by various K-pop artists.
In addition to Heize, the lineup included EVNNE, Choi Ye Na, ONEUS, Lee Mu Jin, FTISLAND, Car, the garden, and Roy Kim.
Heize last released her ninth mini album, ‘FALLIN’', in November 2024.

“I’m incredibly disappointed and heartbroken that today’s My K FESTA in Gyeongju performance, where we were supposed to meet, has been canceled.
I came to Gyeongju yesterday with an excited heart, getting ready to see you all. I arrived at the venue at 4 p.m. today, eagerly waiting for the moment we could meet.
But due to problems with the on-site sound system, not only was the performance impossible, even a rehearsal couldn’t take place.
To everyone who had been waiting and looking forward to today as much as I had, I’m so sorry and truly regret having to make you turn back.
I hope we can meet again soon. For now, I’m sending this message in place of the greeting I couldn’t give in person today.”
