Wavve has unveiled the main trailer for its upcoming original drama, 'ONE: High School Heroes' (written by Kim Young Eun, directed by Lee Sung Tae), on May 21st. The series will be exclusively available on Wavve.
'ONE: High School Heroes' is a high school action drama about Eui Gyeom (played by Lee Jung Ha), the top student burdened by his oppressive father, and Yoon Gi (Kim Do Wan), who seeks to exploit Eui Gyeom’s natural fighting talent. Together, they form the masked group known as the "High School Heroes" to unleash their suppressed anger and overturn the school's violent hierarchy.
The cast also includes Kim Sang Ho, Kim Joo Ryoung, Shin Hyun Soo, Kim Jong Goo, Yoo Hee Je, Yuk Jun Seo, and Lim Sung Kyun.
The main trailer released by the production team immediately grabs attention with raw, intense action scenes and heavy breathing sounds. It highlights the transformation of Eui Gyeom, a model student far from fighting, who awakens his hidden fighting instinct triggered by Yoon Gi’s provocations. Particularly striking is the stark contrast between Eui Gyeom’s oppressive father aggressively snapping his fingers at him and Eui Gyeom’s eventual explosion of pent-up rage.
Yoon Gi, the mastermind who encourages Eui Gyeom to fight and draws out his inner anger, adds an intriguing layer to the story. The tagline, “If you can’t escape it, break it,” accompanies scenes of Eui Gyeom and Yoon Gi taking down school bullies one by one, building anticipation for the story of their rise as the “High School Heroes.”
Additionally, the mysterious transfer student Lee Geol Jae (Yuk Jun Seo) and the unbeatable top fighter in the district Choi Ki Soo (Yoo Hee Je) captivate viewers with their charismatic stares and fast-paced action, promising to deepen the drama’s intensity.
'ONE: High School Heroes' will premiere exclusively on Wavve on May 30th.
