Seventeen members Mingyu and Hoshi showed up for their little brother, Samuel Kim!
On May 22 KST, Samuel Kim revealed new "Rockstar" challenges filmed with Seventeen members Mingyu and Hoshi. In the challenge filmed with Mingyu, the soloist wrote, "Make sure to watch until the end! This was fun to film thanks to my brother Mingyu hyung." In another challenge filmed with Hoshi, Samuel Kim said, "The coolest tiger out there!! Hoshi hyung let's get it!!!!!", displaying his close bond with both Seventeen members.
Samuel Kim originally trained at Pledis Entertainment with Seventeen and was set to debut with the group. However, he was ultimately cut from the debut lineup due to his young age. He then went on to debut in a different team before garnering public attention as a contestant on the Mnet survival program, 'Produce 101' season 2. Most recently, the soloist released his digital single "Rockstar" on May 9 KST.
Seventeen, on the other hand, will be making a comeback next week on May 26 at 6 PM KST with the release of their 5th full album, 'Happy Burstday'.
