A fresh take on the zombie genre is hitting the big screen. The upcoming film 'My Daughter is a Zombie,' starring Jo Jung Suk, has been officially unveiled.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the film has already gained attention for its unique concept and unpredictable storyline.
Unlike typical zombie films, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' stands out with its imaginative plot. The story follows Su A, the last remaining zombie in the world, and her father Jung Hwan, a devoted dad who begins a secret training project to protect his daughter.

After a sudden zombie virus outbreak spreads across the globe, the world scrambles to find and eliminate the infected. In the midst of the chaos, Su A is discovered to be a trainable zombie, something never seen before. To keep her safe, Jung Hwan starts a top-secret training program. From etiquette and gymnastics to dance and learning not to bite, the film shows their touching and often hilarious journey together.
Jo Jung Suk plays Jung Hwan, bringing his signature relatable and comedic acting style to the role. He previously showcased his talent for comedy in films like 'Exit' and 'Pilot.' Su A is played by Choi Yu Ree, who portrayed young Michaela in 'The Priests 2: Dark Nuns.' In this film, she takes on a new kind of role as a lovable young zombie, offering a fresh and endearing performance.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Lee Jung Eun, Cho Yeo Jeong, and Yoon Kyung Ho, adding even more excitement for audiences.
'My Daughter is a Zombie' is set to premiere this July, delivering a one-of-a-kind zombie story full of heart, humor, and surprises.
