Girl band QWER is making their long-awaited return. The group will release their third mini album ‘I’m on your side, even if the whole world is dissonant’ on June 9th KST.
This marks QWER’s first comeback in approximately nine months, following the release of their second mini album ‘Algorithm’s Blossom’ in September 2023. Known for their bright, hopeful coming-of-age narratives, QWER’s four members have continuously built a strong sense of friendship. The upcoming album is said to reaffirm an unchanging promise for the future.
Alongside the comeback announcement, QWER revealed the official poster for the new album on their social media. The teaser features a diary soaked in rain, matching the symbolic color of member Siyeon, raising curiosity about the new stories the band will tell through their music.
QWER has enjoyed a string of hit releases with tracks like ‘Discord’, ‘Komin Addiction’, and ‘My Name is Malguem’, consistently charting high on major Korean music platforms. Their signature upbeat band sound and refreshing energy have captured the hearts of both domestic and international listeners.
In particular, ‘Komin Addiction’ was named YouTube Korea’s #1 most popular song of 2024, and QWER has won nine trophies across Korean music award shows, cementing their status as the nation’s most beloved girl band.
QWER’s third mini album ‘I’m on your side, even if the whole world is dissonant’ will be released on June 9th at 6 PM KST across major music streaming platforms.
