‘MZ wannabe icons’ IVE (Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) embraced their inner Gen Z spirit in a lighthearted new episode of their original content series '1.2.3 IVE'.
On their official YouTube channel, Starship Entertainment recently released the second episode of 1.2.3 IVE Season 6, featuring the members as students at the fictional “Gen Z High School.”
In the first class (self-study), the members attempted to pass secret notes and dance to “Boom Pow Genie” without getting caught. While the notes were successfully passed, the unmistakable sound of their footwork gave them away, letting Rei claim victory as the class monitor.
During the second class, they played various K-pop-themed games, including AI lyric reading, emoji guessing, and one-second song challenges. Jang Wonyoung shined, racking up five points thanks to her quick wit.
Even during break time, the “Gen Z energy” continued. The girls played the “HamBugi Song” hand game, stacking hands and rotating the bottom one upward until the music stopped. When the final round caused confusion over whose hand was last, Yujin and Gaeul were the top suspects. Yujin lost a rock-paper-scissors match and performed the hilarious penalty of “writing her name with her butt,” leaving everyone stunned.
For PE class, the members played “Open the Dongdaemun Gate” and “Take a Photo with Your Eyes Closed.” Hilarity ensued as Wonyoung turned back in fear mid-run, while Yujin and Wonyoung simultaneously charged between Gaeul’s arms. Ultimately, Gaeul and Liz won the first game, while Rei triumphed in the photo challenge.
At the end of the video, a “Gen Z High School graduation ceremony” was held. The members expressed sadness, saying, “That was so much fun” and “Graduation came too fast,” as they wrapped the episode by taking commemorative photos and shouting, “DM me, guys!” on their way out of the gym—fully immersed in the high school role-play until the end.
Meanwhile, 1.2.3 IVE Season 6 airs every Friday at 7:30 p.m. KST on IVE’s official YouTube channel.
