Baekhyun, member of EXO and solo artist, has released the final teaser ahead of his upcoming comeback.

On May 17 (KST), his agency INB100 posted the music video teaser for the title track 'Elevator' from his fifth mini album 'Essence of Reverie' through official social media channels.

The released video starts with Baekhyun noticing someone in an elevator who catches his attention. It then transitions through scenes of him engaged in a photo and video shoot, offering a glimpse into his artistic routine. Vivid pop-art-inspired graphics and quick transitions give the teaser a stylized, immersive feel, reminiscent of a visual novel.

Ahead of the album release, Baekhyun has built anticipation through various promotional content. In addition to the teaser, he shared concept photos, short films, and trailer clips. He also performed the pre-release track 'Chocolate' for the first time on 'Music Bank' on May 16, followed by brief previews of 'Chocolate' and the B-side track 'Lemonade' on 'Show! Music Core' on May 17.

Set to drop on May 19 at 6 p.m. KST, 'Essence of Reverie' explores the boundary between reality and idealism. The album reflects Baekhyun’s essence as an artist, symbolizing both his journey so far and the future he envisions.

This marks his return after the 2023 mini album 'Hello, World', which introduced a fresh artistic direction. Now with 'Essence of Reverie', he turns inward to redefine his musical identity. Baekhyun took part in writing and producing every track on the album, and once again collaborated with Colde, a duo often praised as a “golden pairing,” raising global expectations.

'Essence of Reverie' will be released on all major digital platforms at 6 p.m. KST on May 19.
