Actress Jung Yu Mi, who had unexpectedly paused her YouTube activities, has finally broken her silence and updated fans on her recent life.
On May 13, Jung shared a heartfelt message: “I hope everyone is doing well. I realized I haven’t checked in for a while, so I wanted to say hello. I’ve been doing well and staying healthy.”
She revealed that she’s been enjoying soccer games and studying for a Japanese language certificate. As for the soccer coaching license she had previously been pursuing with her YouTube team, Jung admitted, “It’s difficult to continue alone, so I’ve put it on hold for now. But I do want to take on the challenge again someday.”
She added, “I’m also really disappointed that the YouTube channel had to be paused so suddenly. Still, my heart remains with all of you who’ve supported and subscribed to me. I hope you stay happy and well.”
Jung Yu Mi had been connecting with fans through her channel “Not That Yumi”, mainly posting football-related content and documenting her efforts to become a licensed coach. Her last video was uploaded on March 21, and the sudden halt had left many fans concerned. Her latest message, shared after over a month of silence, brought reassurance to many.
Meanwhile, Jung Yu Mi has been in a public relationship with singer Kangta since 2020.
