BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ new song "APT". has sparked a continued surge in YG-related stocks for the second day.

As of 9:32 AM on October 22nd KST, YG PLUS was trading at 4,390 KRW, up 940 KRW (26.15%) from the previous day. YG Entertainment also rose by 550 KRW (1.44%) to 38,700 KRW at the same time. This followed a limit-up on the previous day as well.

The driving force behind the rise in YG-related stocks is the global success of Rosé’s new song APT., which features Bruno Mars.

APT. is a pre-release track from Rosé’s upcoming solo full-length album, scheduled for release on December 6, and is based on the popular Korean drinking game “Apartment.”

Since its release on October 18, APT. has reached the number one spot on both Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global and the US charts as of the morning of the 22nd. Additionally, the music video for APT., released on Rosé’s YouTube channel, has surpassed 81.43 million views, signaling a strong global performance.
