Yonghwa talked about enlisting in a recent interview.
As an 89'er, Yonghwa is up soon for enlistment, as most of the 88'ers have enlisted this year with a few exceptions. During his interview for drama 'The Package', he was asked about enlisting and said, "It's about time and I have to go soon. I feel sorry for it. I am keeping an eye on the timing."

When asked if he was thinking of enlisting together with the other CNBLUE members, he said, "That's not up to me. I'm the oldest hyung and I'd go first, and I can't tell the dongsaengs, 'Since I'm going, you go, too'. I'll leave that up to the members."
