On May 8, Kim Jong Kook revealed that he suffered from a health condition after consuming too much protein on TV Chosun's 'Let's Go.'
The episode featured the singer visiting Vietnam with his mother as they looked forward to trying some fresh seafood.At the sight of steamed shrimp, Kim Jong Kook didn't even bother to touch it, making the viewers wonder why.
"I have a health condition. It's because I ate too much protein," commenting on the reason he couldn't eat shrimp.
Kim Jong Kook went on, explaining, "I didn't know what it was at first and suffered for two years. I went to the hospital but they couldn't figure out what it was. After some more testing, I found out I had it after a cholesterol check."
