BTS member SUGA is set to complete his mandatory military service as a social service worker, and his agency has requested fans to refrain from visiting the discharge site.
On June 18(KST), BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement, saying, “SUGA is nearing the end of his service as a social service worker and will soon be discharged. There will be no official event on the day of his discharge.”
The agency continued, “To prevent safety incidents due to overcrowding, we sincerely ask fans to refrain from visiting the site. Please send your warm welcome and encouragement to SUGA in your hearts.”
BIGHIT MUSIC added, “We are always grateful for the support and unwavering love fans have shown SUGA. We will continue to do our best to support our artists.”
SUGA has been serving as a social service worker since September 2023 and is scheduled to be discharged on June 21. Following Jin and j-hope in June 2023, RM and V on June 10, and Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, BTS is now on the brink of becoming a fully reunited group.
