'Hit the Stage,' Mnet's newest dance survival program featuring your favorite idols, aired its first themed episode on July 27.

The theme on this broadcast was 'devils,' and the competing idols, including Hyoyeon, Taemin, Bora, Hoya, U-Kwon, Shownu, Momo, and TEN, all showcased a chillingly intense performance.

U-Kwon's stage in particular drew much awe and praise from the audience members for the creative choreography and a dark yet mesmerizing energy. The idol had transformed into the psychotic villain Joker, 'killing' everyone in sight with his, well, killer moves.

Bora and Momo put on sexy performances as seductive enchantresses, and TEN was reborn as the devil himself, seemingly possessed in the way he contorted his joints.

Though every stage contained charms of its own, it was U-Kwon's Joker performance that ultimately won a majority of the votes! U-Kwon earned a total of 158 points, surpassing TEN and taking first place for the show's very first performance.

You can take a look at the available performances for yourself below.

Bora's performance - I was distracted by the fact that the other dancer was better than her. Momo's performance - I liked the concept but it needed some fine tuning.

For me Ten did an amazing job.His stage had both the dance and the acting and the dancers weren't outshining him yet were sync with him . Bora's choreo was really good maybe if she used like 2 more back up dancers the stage would've looked fuller and she looked more like the centered person . Momo's stage is my favorite performance, her expression ,moves and the story were on point but dance wise I think Ten and bora are higher than her in this . she seems nervous I hope she shake it off in the other performances . U-Kwon's acting was the best, whole other level, but I felt like he acted more than dancing . For me Ten is the winner, but they all had creative stages so the winner loser thing is not that important.

the professional dancers aren't back up dancer. The idols and the professional dancers pair up and form team. What Ukwon did was letting BB Trippin. his teammates shine as well. He also shines because he was the main dancer/focus of the dance. The winner is both Ukwon and BB Trippin because out of all of the teams, they had the best stage presence and team work, represented the devil theme, and carried out a story,

Plus, their moves seem simple but they were in sync, smooth, fluid and on beats. As for Ten, he danced more and did crazy moves. In my opinion, his moves were faster and rougher. However, he made a lot of unnecessary moves and his intro dance didn't do song any justice. He did showcase his individual dancing skill, but his story lost half way through. And his teammate didn't not shine at all and they were lost in the background. When I was watching. my eyes were on him but not his teammates. This is a team competition not individuals. Therefore, I think this is why I thought Ukwon's team was better.

I don't even like NCT but I'm rooting for Ten

I think the other guy, Ten, killed it! My jaw dropped through the whole dance.

Ten is making me proud. They say SM is all just face. But looky here. We got Taemin, Hyoyeon, and Ten on this show. Ten even practiced with Lay (another amazing dancer). I wish haters would open their eyes already. SM idols got real skills.

okay I am a huge ONCE and Momo is my favorite, I think she's a great dancer and has great execution. That being said, I've been pretty let down by her performances on the show so far. I know there's only been a small handful of them and there's room for improvement but idk I just thought she'd come out a little harder? Bora's was really good, especially her facial expressions. There were just a few things I thought she could've hit with more power. Ten's was absolutely amazing, good expressions and moves. Ukwon had a good performance but his back up dancers did more dancing than him.All in all I'm loving the concept of the show and I'm super excited to see the performances of the other contestants. It'll be fun to see what other themes they'll have everyone dance to

Did Momo actually come out last?? I thought she was second best! Her stage was really creepy and her dancing was on point, dafuq?

This show clearly judging on acting rather than dancing. I don't know what the people are looking for. Its should be dance show but the top of the rank all he did was act.

When it comes to a dancing everything is important, up to facial expressions, stage, effects, performance itself... basicly everything :) The main thing is to make crowd feel the moves :) When I saw Momo i felt kind of bored (don't get me wrong, i like her very much, but she just didn't impress me)Bora was preeeety nice, but when it came to Ten i was off the chair, he did dance and twist his body like crazy (daaaaamn boi :O), but when i was watching U-Kwon he was relaxed, jumping this and there, moving around the whole stage, music fit well, that move when he was ''in a car'' was on point, at the end i ended up feeling happy by the performance and that's the whole point...I'm saying this as a dancer so... they all did good :) Ten did dance a lot, but the first 45 seconds i was thinking will he do something except standing and moving hands xd But when he started i was like '':O dafuq?!?! :O''But when U kwon danced, from the very beggining i was interested, and i guess the audience there was thinking like that, that's why he won :) Everything counts :D

This is my opinion toward other performers and I am not going to be biased. I am gonna judges individual dancing. Momo - She did good but she is lacking something maybe she is nervous. The cartwheel shouldn't have been included in the performance. Her expression and storytelling was great. I need more oomp in her performance. I am looking forward her next performance. Bora - She was OK but I felt like her performance was over shadowed by the other dancer. My attention just went to the other dancer than Bora. The choreography was good but I felt like there is missing maybe the other dancer is too good. U-KWON - I don't know what the people are watching with this full of acting, productions and few seconds of dancing. If I get to judges on dancing I would have put him to last. His character and expression are on point just when he start to dance his character disappeared. Ten - His performance are definitely called 'DANCE' his performed all the way through from the beginning to end using all of his flexibility on his upper body, technique, characters and storytelling. How fluid his body and the movement has got so much control. He really deserved to be first place.
