Though fans will be missing Big Bang on the big year-end award ceremonies, the YG Entertainment group has been confirmed to attend the '30th Golden Disk Awards'.
On December 17, a rep from the 'Golden Disk Awards' revealed that Big Bang will for sure be attending the event on January 20-21, 2016 in China's Shenzhen. It's said that the award ceremony reps were in talks with Big Bang since November, and the group have been planning their performances for the event since the beginning of this month.
One rep stated, "In Big Bang's case, their 'MADE' series ranked high on music charts since this past May, and their attendance at the 'Golden Disk Awards' was quickly confirmed. Talks for their performances started soon afterwards. Big Bang are a team that put in a lot of effort for their performances, and it's been revealed that the production team has been preparing carefully for the 'Golden Disk Awards'."
