YG Entertainment has signed Han Byul.

Han Byul was one of the youngest contestants of 'K-Pop Star 6', and Yang Hyun Suk saw her potential. Born in 2006, she's only 11 years old, and is receiving training 3-4 times a week while still staying with her parents.

Han Byul, who is half Swedish, stole the judges' hearts with her amazing charisma on stage on the audition program, despite being just 11! Good luck to her under YGE!

She looks really talented, I can't move like that without breaking one or three parts of my body. Plus she's mixed, it's rare seeing mixed people in the industry, I hope she will get to debut ! But... She seems a bit young for all this trainee thing tbh, it's so hard mentally for people over 18, especially at an entertainment where you have to do 3 survival shows, appear in 7 mvs and send over 150 songs before they decide to let you debut... If I were her parents I wouldn't let her go throught all that pressure at such a young age but I hope she realizes her dream !

sometimes i think about how disappointed and UNsupportive daesungs father was when daesung said he wanted to debut as an idol. his father like many other parents out there, disapprove but there are few parents who know their child has got something great and help guide them to achieve it and THEN there are parents who dnt care and just want the safe route & dont support their kids dream even IF they are talented. Daesungs father came around later on but it was an emotional time. The new gen of kpop are more aware of what goes on when they look at the contracts and hear from other ppls' experience, there is a lot more awareness today thanks to media. when u start training young its easier to get used to the system vs going in as a teen/older with rebellious fire. If she trains and and decides to quit, its not like they lost everything, shes still young and her time is shared between Ygschool & home.

i 100% agree. 11 year olds shouldn't be wearing crop tops and shorts that require spandex underneath them to cover everything up

yes kids shouldn't wear comfortable clothes like kids. they should wear a burka because of your own perv issues. genius

Kids here in Asian wear shorter things and it is okay. It does get incredibly hot here.. Was shocked at first when I moved here but it is really common.

i live in south america, i know hot, but her wardrobe have nothing to do with the weather, she is in an air conditioned studio where audience and judges are wearing sweeters and jackets.

She is still a kid. People seeing something other than a child in shorts, that is their problem. She is not in a country where she is told to cover up. Let kids be kids. Her clothes are not killing anyone. It's completely insignificant and has nothing to do with her talent or that she got signed by YG

nobody says anything about her talent, thats why i said "unnecesseary short"she could kill it the same with clothes more appropiate for her age, the problem is that she was dressed like an idol, like black pink that are 9 to 11 years older. Also funny you mention let kids be kids when she just signed a work contract, kids usually play, don't work

Hey I grew up in show biz, you can be a show kid and still be a child. I can see there is no reasoning with you. If you cannot see how harmless her clothing is, I doubt I can change your mind. I hope you still wish her success. Have a good day.

although im a little late coming back to this, i think it blew way out of proportion. i wasn't saying anything about how talented she was - she is extremely talented and im glad she got signed. neither was i saying she had to cover herself with a burka? i just wanted her to cover up more because she's young and where i come from kids don't typically wear stuff like that. no where in there was i being a perv either, so calling someone that when they're simply saying they wish a young girl would cover up more is extremely rude and uncalled for. also, i admit that i didn't know it was more commonplace for kids to wear shorter clothes in asia, so it makes sense now and i apologize. i simply grew up in a place where kids her age cover up more, and that was the basis i was going off of. again, i'm glad she got signed and im sorry

Glad that she got signed with someone. But the pressure of trying to impress YG at such a young age. 3-4 times a week training?! Good luck girl!
