Model Moon Ga Bi has closed the comment section on her Instagram.
As reported, Moon Ga Bi recently uploaded several photos on her account without any caption, offering a glimpse into her daily life with her son, who was biologically fathered by Jung Woo Sung.
In the photos, Moon Ga Bi is seen enjoying peaceful moments with her son at the beach and in the park, as well as spending time together at what appears to be her studio. True to her profession as a model, both Moon Ga Bi and her son wore coordinated outfits, creating a warm and affectionate atmosphere.
Much of the attention centered on how much her son has grown. Although his face was not revealed, his noticeable growth drew the public’s eye.
While numerous supportive messages were left in the comments, Moon Ga Bi later disabled the comment section, making all previously posted messages private.
To this decision, online users expressed divided opinions. Some encouraged her, saying she should confidently share such moments as an expression of her "freedom," while others advised "caution," believing it might be wiser to protect her son from potential harm in the future.
Comments included, "What’s wrong with posting photos of her son?", "I hope she doesn’t let it bother her," and "You can see how much she loves her child," showing support for Moon Ga Bi’s choice to share her son’s photos. Others said, "I hope she doesn’t get hurt," "It’s a sensitive issue," and "She needs to think about her son’s future."
In November of last year, Moon Ga Bi revealed that she had given birth to a child in March. It was later confirmed that the child’s father is actor Jung Woo Sung, who is 16 years older than her.
Jung Woo Sung’s side acknowledged that the child was born out of wedlock but clarified that he and Moon Ga Bi would not be marrying, adding, "We are currently discussing the best course of action, and as a father, I will take full responsibility for the child." In August, Jung Woo Sung registered his marriage with his non-celebrity girlfriend, officially becoming a married couple.
