2PM's Taecyeon personally announced his marriage through a hand-written letter posted on his Instagram.
On November 1 KST, Taecyeon wrote,
"Hello. This is 2PM's Ok Taecyeon.
I've decided to pick up the pen so I could be the first to share my thoughts with my fans who have always loved and supported me.
19-years have passed since I debuted in 2PM. From my beginnings at 19-years old on the audition program 'Superstar Survival' to now, I could only come this far because you were with me. So I felt that it was only right for me to deliver this news to you first.
I have promised to spend the rest of my life with a person who has understood and trusted in me for a long time. We intend to walk the path of life together while being by each other's sides.
Once again, I sincerely thank my fans for your unwavering support which has allowed me to come this far. You have no idea how much indescribable strength you gave me with your love and encouragements. I will do my best moving forward as a member of 2PM, as an actor, and as your Taecyeon to repay you for your love and trust.
The weather has suddenly become chilly, so please take care of your health. Thank you for reading this long letter.
Sincerely,
Ok Taecyeon."
