BTS member Jungkook opened up about his thoughts on holding a solo concert during a nearly six-hour live broadcast on fan community Weverse on November 3 KST.
The broadcast was titled “Hello, this is Ian.”
Jungkook kept the atmosphere light with his signature charm, spending time chatting, playing games, singing live, watching YouTube videos with fans, and even enjoying a late-night “gukbap” meal, interacting in real time with over 11.1 million viewers.
The tone shifted when an ad for J-Hope’s solo concert appeared on screen. Looking at it, Jungkook sighed deeply and said, “I wonder if I’ll ever be able to hold a solo concert too.”
That single remark instantly sent his global fandom into a frenzy, with real-time reactions flooding social media: “I’d go even if it were tomorrow,” “We’re always ready,” and “How can the company not realize how many fans are waiting for Jungkook’s solo concert?”
Jungkook enlisted for his mandatory military service in December 2023 and was discharged in June of this year. Since then, he has focused less on individual promotions and more on preparing for BTS’s group activities. Recently, he appeared as a guest alongside J-Hope at member Jin’s encore concert, where he performed live and showcased his powerful stage presence.
