A popular Korean gaming YouTuber with 1 million subscribers was brutally assaulted by two men in Incheon.
On October 30, 'Crime Chief' revealed the photos showing SUTAK's injuries from the attack. According to the reports, on October 26 at around 10:40 PM, SUTAK (Go Jin Ho, age 31) was abducted and violently beaten by two men in their 20s and 30s in an underground parking lot of an apartment complex in Incheon. He is currently receiving hospital treatment for an Orbital blowout fracture, multiple contusions, and a broken ring finger.
The suspect referred to as 'A,' and SUTAK previously had a business relationship. 'A' was a used car dealer, and SUTAK was his customer. After SUTAK entrusted his car to 'A', he began receiving penalty notices and unpaid toll bills, prompting him to contact 'A' for clarification. On October 19, 'A' sent him an address, telling him to "Come get your money." After checking the location and discovering it was in the middle of a mountain, SUTAK refused. 'A' then changed the meeting place to an apartment parking lot, where the assault later occurred.

The attack lasted for about two hours. SUTAK had already filed a police report before the meeting, saying he felt his safety was at risk. Police later arrested the suspects in a remote mountain area in South Chungcheong Province, about 200 kilometers from SUTAK's residence. On that day, Incheon Yeonsu Police charged A and his accomplices with attempted murder and other related offenses.
SUTAK’s legal representative explained, “He parked the car not in a parking space but along a passageway. Because SUTAK felt something was off, he stayed inside the car. Then someone wearing a hood appeared and was hiding there,” adding, “He felt something was wrong and called 112 (the emergency hotline). When the attackers realized he had called the police, they pulled out a rope and tried to strangle him.”

“One suspect was driving while the other repeatedly punched his face from the back seat. They said things like, ‘It’d be easier to just kill you. It’s better to kill you, sell your organs, and run away.’ When SUTAK said he only had a few tens of millions of KRW, they replied, ‘Then you deserve to die for that amount,’” the lawyer added.
SUTAK has been active as a streamer since 2013, starting on the platform formerly known as AfreecaTV. In October 2014, he launched his YouTube channel, where he uploads mainly game recordings. His channel currently has around one million subscribers.
His agency, Sandbox Network, released a statement the previous day: “SUTAK is hospitalized and awaiting surgery. He is focusing on treatment and recovery,” adding, “He wanted us to tell his fans that he’s sorry for causing them concern due to this incident.”
