EXO member D.O. (Doh Kyung Soo) has officially parted ways with his agency, Company Soosoo.
According to reports on November 4 KST, D.O.’s exclusive contract with Company Soosoo expired earlier this month, and he has decided not to renew it.
Company Soosoo, established in November 2023, is a boutique agency founded by CEO Nam Kyung Soo — a former management director at SM Entertainment — together with D.O. himself. Over the past two years, D.O. has actively worked under the company, releasing albums, appearing on variety shows, and taking on numerous acting projects. However, after two years of partnership, the two sides have agreed to go their separate ways.
As one of the most sought-after free agents (“FA big names”) in the entertainment industry, D.O. is reportedly receiving multiple offers from various management agencies. He is said to be taking his time to carefully choose his next home.
Although his contract with Company Soosoo has ended, D.O. will continue to work with the agency for his remaining scheduled activities. He is currently holding his second solo concert and Asia tour “DO it!” — which will conclude with final shows at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on December 6 and 7.
D.O. debuted in 2012 as the main vocalist of the SM Entertainment boy group EXO, rising to stardom through numerous hit songs such as “Growl” and “Wolf.” Beyond his idol career, he made a seamless transition into acting, earning acclaim for his performance in the 2014 drama 'It’s Okay, That’s Love,' and appearing in films such as 'Cart' and the 'Along with the Gods' series.
In recent years, D.O. has also built a distinct identity as a solo artist, releasing mini albums “Empathy,” “Expectation,” and “Growth,” showcasing his unique musical sensibility and artistic maturity.
