There have been conflicting reports about the idol group's claim to their own name after their contract with Cube Entertainment ended, but it looks like the members themselves are thinking of starting under a new group name. According to an insider on November 11, "It could be as soon as this weekend that they sign with a new agency and start again."

The same insider told media outlets, "If Cube Entertainment doesn't let them use it in the end, they're even thinking of a name change." It's said the agency's contract included a 10-year claim to "B2ST," and the group would have to submit a request to use the name.

Stay tuned for more updates on B2ST's next move!

If Cube won't give up B2ST, they can just change their name to Bst since it's the same thing in Korean anyway

I seriously hope they can keep their name an songs, Cube Ent should let them cause it will only be fair doing so! Even though their contracts ended an there was no conflicts at the time the contracts expired Cube should at least do that for they, they were the most popular idol group for them an brought in an amazing profit as Cube Ent idols

It's going to be sad,how they can't sing their own song again. Should they try to fight like what Shinhwa did?

This situation is kinda like those messy break up where the boyfriend/girlfriend ask the other to take off their clothes, shoes, bag right on the street because those were gifts, lol.

It'd be a lie if I say I'm happy they'll change their group name.. But on the lighter note, even if they change their group name, everybody knows they were once called BEAST, the hit songs they owned, the daesang awards they won under the name. People will NEVER forget. B2UTY will still remain their fandom name. These are the things STUPID BLUE SQUARE can NEVER take away from BEAST and B2UTY.

Seems they can't escape their destiny, and destiny wants them to be Genghis Khan!

lmao because that's one of the many names they could have debuted with! Beast was like their last option right behind Genghis Khan, Six Cone and Gold Silver Bronze eagle or something like that lol
