On July 21, KST, singer-songwriter and video director from20, unveiled his new single, titled "Beat It," along with its music video.
"Beat It" is a disco/retro synth-pop song that showcases the artist’s strong spirit and sexiness, focusing on the fortitude he has acquired while working as an idol, independent musician, and a record label owner in the South Korean music industry for more than a decade.
Lyrics, such as "I'm A Survivor," "Going Next Level," and "Who Lied?" reflect from20’s vision and aspirations evoking an image of a seasoned fighter in a military and war setting.
