Member of Shinhwa, Kim Dongwan, has issued an apology amid a series of recent controversies.
On March 24, Kim Dongwan shared a statement via his personal account, saying, “I sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable due to recent events.” He added that any discomfort caused by his words and actions was entirely his responsibility and that he is reflecting deeply, promising to be more careful moving forward.
The issue escalated further when a former manager publicly made additional claims about Kim’s past behavior, including allegations related to his personality and professional conduct. In response, Kim denied the accusations, stating they were false and announcing plans to take both civil and criminal legal action.
The former manager, however, pushed back, hinting at further revelations, intensifying the dispute.
Amid the growing controversy, Kim Dongwan went ahead with a scheduled busking performance in Seoul. While he thanked fans for attending, he avoided directly addressing the controversy during the event, instead focusing on the performance itself.
The situation continues to draw attention as both sides maintain firm positions.
