Group ILLIT is celebrating their second debut anniversary while hinting at an even bolder next chapter.
Marking two years since their debut on March 25, 2024, the group has quickly built a distinct identity often referred to as “ILLIT core,” blending unique aesthetics across music, performance, and visuals.
Their consistent experimentation has translated into strong results, with three consecutive releases—including their third mini album 'bomb'—charting on the Billboard 200.
ILLIT has also expanded their performance scale, selling out all shows of their fan concert ‘GLITTER DAY’ and launching their first tour ‘PRESS START♥’ across seven cities.
Looking ahead, the group is preparing to release their fourth mini album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' on April 30, signaling another evolution in their sound and concept.
In a Q and A shared through their agency, the members reflected on their journey and growth. They expressed gratitude toward their fandom GLLIT and emphasized how their experiences—especially their first tour—helped them gain confidence and stage presence.
The group also highlighted their desire to continue pushing boundaries. One member shared, “We want people to say, ‘We didn’t know ILLIT could do this,’” underscoring their ambition to surprise audiences with new styles and performances.
As they enter their third year, ILLIT aims to reach more global fans, explore diverse genres, and further expand their artistic spectrum—while staying true to their signature identity.
