Global supergroup BTS is taking over the baseball diamond as part of Major League Baseball’s 2026 season opening week.
According to international media including Billboard, tracks from BTS’s fifth full length album 'ARIRANG' have been selected as the official soundtrack for MLB’s opening week social media content.
In the first of three hype videos released, the high energy track 'FYA' is featured alongside dynamic highlights of top MLB stars such as Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, and Juan Soto, creating a powerful synergy between music and sport.
The second video is set to be released on March 25, with a third installment scheduled for next week.
This collaboration follows BTS’s recent comeback with ‘ARIRANG’ on March 20 and their large scale performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The group is currently in the United States continuing promotional activities, including a Spotify fan event and upcoming appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The album’s title track 'SWIM' has already topped Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart for three consecutive days, signaling strong global success.
MLB has recently increased collaborations with music, following projects like the World Baseball Classic soundtrack featuring artists such as Tainy, Becky G, and Yeonjun, highlighting the league’s push to engage global audiences through music.
