On March 25, OUI Entertainment announced a temporary change in the promotion strategy for the boy group WEi. The agency stated that the group will pause full group activities for the time being and focus on solo and unit projects.
In a message addressed to the official fandom, RUi, OUI Entertainment expressed gratitude for the fans’ continued support and explained that the members of WEi will use this period to explore individual growth and new professional opportunities.
The agency emphasized that the group is not disbanding. WEi will maintain their teamwork and plans for future collective activities, resuming group promotions when the timing and conditions are favorable.
“The members are supporting one another under the name of WEi,” OUI Entertainment said. “We will actively support both their individual endeavors and future group promotions.” The agency concluded by asking fans to continue their warm support as the members embark on new projects and promised a return with a more mature image.
