Singer and actress UEE successfully completed her first ever half marathon, overcoming past injuries and proving her true “energizer” spirit.
On March 2, UEE shared the news on social media, writing, “My first half marathon finish in life,” along with photos and videos from the rainy ‘2026 New Balance Half Race Seoul.’

In the released photos, UEE beams brightly despite the wet weather, proudly holding up her finisher’s medal. Her official record of 2 hours, 9 minutes, and 28 seconds, clearly shown on her race sheet, reflects the steady training she has put in.
UEE candidly revealed, “After my hip and knee injuries, running became difficult.” She added, “When I ran 22 kilometers in three hours during practice, I was really worried and scared about whether I could make it within the cutoff time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.”
However, she proved strong on race day. Starting at Gwanghwamun Square and heading toward Jamsil Sports Complex, UEE continued her battle with herself throughout the course. She expressed gratitude to a fellow runner who helped her manage her pace and shared, “With 2 kilometers left, my pace dropped to seven minutes per kilometer, but thanks to the people who passionately cheered even in the rain, I was able to find the strength to push through.”
After completing the challenge, UEE shared her heartfelt thoughts: “Today, I went beyond my limits. I found another reason to keep living diligently.”
Earlier this year on January 1, UEE kicked off 2026 by completing a 10 kilometer “New Year’s Sunrise Run” in just over 1 hour and 7 minutes.
She previously moved audiences through the tvN variety show ‘Iron Girls,’ where she took on triathlons and boxing, consistently challenging herself and pushing beyond her limits.
