Netflix original series ‘Squid Game’ earned a nomination at the Screen Actors Guild Awards but ultimately fell short of taking home a trophy.
The 32nd Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on March 1 (local time) in Los Angeles, California.
‘Squid Game’ was nominated in the Television category for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble, highlighting its continued global presence. However, the award went to HBO’s ‘The Last of Us.’
Other nominees in the same category included ‘Andor,’ ‘Landman,’ and ‘Stranger Things,’ making for a competitive lineup.
Previously, ‘Squid Game’ won the same Stunt Ensemble award at the 28th SAG Awards in 2022 for its first season. As a result, this year’s nomination once again underscored the series’ lasting impact and recognition within the industry.
