
On the March 8 episode of TV Chosun's 'Huh Young Man's Food Travel', FIFTY FIFTY members Chanelle Moon and Yewon appeared as guests to share a meal and talk about their journey to becoming idols.
During the show, the host noticed Chanelle's unique features and asked about her background. She proudly explained that she is half-Korean and half-American. When asked how she learned Korean so well, she shared that frequent conversations are the best method. She also revealed her long-time love for K-pop, sharing that she moved to Korea in 2021 to chase her dream of becoming a singer, a passion she has held since she was just four years old.
Yewon also shared her own story. She mentioned that she was a very dedicated student and even served as her school's student body president. She kept her dream of singing hidden in her heart until she and Chanelle participated in a survival TV program together, which eventually led them to join their current agency.
Finally, Yewon explained the sweet meaning behind their group's name, stating that the fans are "50" and the members are the other "50," coming together to make a perfect whole.
