The acquaintances and friends of 'Single's Inferno 5' contestant Mina Sue Choi have come to her defense following multiple malicious comments online.
Recently, the social media posts of Mina Sue Choi's friends have gained traction, showing the latest update on Choi. In the released photos, Mina Sue Choi is seen curled up in a corner by the window with her head lowered, giving off a noticeably subdued and downcast mood. The acquaintance who posted the photo captioned the image with a brief message saying, "She's self-reflecting :(."
Another post captured Choi standing in front of the TV, watching the scenes from her own appearance on the show. The image was shared alongside the caption. "A real friend's review after watching episodes 1-4 together: 'What are you really feeling?" These photos are widely interpreted as reflecting Mina Sue's awareness of the flood of negative reactions that followed the broadcast.

In the earlier episodes, Mina Sue Choi made a strong impression with her stunning visuals and confident presence, initially earning three votes from the male contestants. She further solidified her presence on the show by simultaneously forming emotional connections with multiple male contestants. However, this sparked criticisms from viewers, who accused her of "stringing people along," or "overplaying her hand."
In particular, she drew further criticism when she asked whether it was possible to choose two men at once for her final choice. Mina Sue Choi's statement triggered a blunt on-air remark from panelist Hong Jin Kyung, who said, "That's enough."

In subsequent episodes, Mina Sue Choi continued to show her indecisive and fickle nature. While she initially showed interest in Lim Soo Bin, she began shifting her attention to Song Seung Il, despite being aware that Kim Min Ji had feelings for him. She also continued to make moves on Lee Sung Hoon, causing viewers to accuse her of keeping the male contestants on the hook. Moreover, she appeared unable to fully focus on Song Seung Il during their trip to Paradise.
That said, as the show moves into its later stages, a shift in tone has begun to emerge. After navigating emotional confusion, Choi is shown attempting to sort out her feelings and focus on one person: Lim Soo Bin. Nevertheless, the public continues to be divided, and many have been leaving malicious comments about Mina Sue Choi.
With the increasing hate toward Mina Sue, her friends and acquaintances have come to her defense. One acquaintance also wrote, "Mina Sue is an incredibly good friend, almost like family, someone who notices emotions even I don't recognize in myself and always offers encouragement. The more you get to know her, the better a person she is. Please continue to support Mina Sue until the very end."
