
i-dle has claimed the top spot on 'Music Bank.'
The February 6 broadcast of KBS2’s 'Music Bank' delivered a vibrant showcase of K-pop’s latest hits and performances across a wide range of genres.
The day’s lineup featured 2Z, 8TURN, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, ATEEZ, AxMxP, i-dle, KiiiKiii, POW, WHIB, Sungmin, Catch The Young, Tak Song I, and more.
The show was packed with comeback and hot debut stages that heightened the excitement, including Sungmin’s “Dancing Under the Stars,” which combined smooth vocals with powerful beats; AxMxP’s “Thereafter,” a song about unforgettable moments and fate reconnecting; ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s “FREAK ALARM” and “Cinnamon Shake,” capturing the thrill of a long-awaited beginning; and ATEEZ’s confident performances of “NASA” and “Adrenaline,” showcasing their unrestrained charisma as they push through the storm stronger than ever.
i-dle’s stage also drew major attention. Members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua unveiled a fresh side of themselves through their performance of the digital single “Mono (Feat. skaiwater).” Notably, the group demonstrated its strong presence by becoming a No. 1 nominee just one week after their comeback.
Released on January 27, “Mono (Feat. skaiwater)” reflects i-dle’s reflections and passion regarding their identity and essence. The track has been praised for its minimalist beat, addictive melody, and warm, meaningful lyrics. Upon release, it topped domestic and international music charts, generating a strong global response.
The group further elevated the stage with polished, expressive choreography. Following the buzzworthy mega-crew performance featured in the music video, i-dle delivered wave-based choreography and performance details uniquely colored by their own style, leaving a lasting impression.
That day, i-dle ultimately took home first place on Music Bank. The members shared, “We never even expected to win No. 1. It’s all thanks to our fans,” adding, “We’ll continue to be i-dle who never forget our initial resolution.”
Meanwhile, KBS2’s Music Bank is broadcast to 114 countries worldwide through the KBS World channel. Rankings for the Music Bank K-Chart are determined by a combined score of digital music sales (60%), broadcast frequency (20%), K-pop fan voting (10%), album sales (5%), and social media performance (5%).
Music Bank airs every Friday at 5:10 PM KST on KBS2.
