On December 14 KST, EXO's agency SM Entertainment announced, "We would like to inform EXO-L (official fandom) who have been waiting for the EXO fan meeting. Due to unavoidable circumstances, member Lay is unable to attend the fan meeting."
The agency added, "We ask for your understanding regarding the sudden announcement of changes to the lineup to the fans who have waited and supported us for a long time." They confirmed that members Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun will participate as scheduled.
SM Entertainment plans to provide full refunds without cancellation fees for those who wish to cancel their tickets due to the change in the participating members.
Lay, who has been focusing on local activities in China, was scheduled to resume EXO group activities after a long hiatus through this fan meeting, drawing high expectations from fans. Since he had fully participated in recent rehearsals, fans are expressing shock at the sudden absence notice delivered on the very day of the event.
Meanwhile, EXO's exclusive fan meeting 'EXO'verse' will be held twice on December 14 at 2 PM and 7 PM at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. As Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun reunite with fans through a standalone performance for the first time in about 1 year and 8 months, all tickets for both shows were sold out during the fan club pre-sale.

- Full refunds without cancellation fees are available only for those who wish to cancel their reservation.
- Cancellation Fee Waiver Period: From Dec 14, 2025, 09:00 AM to Dec 21, 2025, 09:00 AM (KST)
- If you cancel the reservation yourself (via the website/app), a cancellation fee will be charged. Therefore, you must make the request through the Customer Center.
- Tickets that are confirmed to have been used for entry/viewing the performance are not eligible for a refund.
- Cancellation/Refund Inquiries: Melon Ticket Customer Center (1899-0042, Weekdays/Weekends 09:00~18:00) and '1:1 Inquiry'.
- Cancellation fees charged for tickets voluntarily cancelled prior to this announcement cannot be refunded.
