Actress Nana is resuming her activities after overcoming the trauma of a home invasion and attempted robbery.
On November 26th KST, her agency Sublime announced through its official social media accounts, “Nana has gone through a difficult time due to the recent incident, but thanks to the warm support and encouragement from fans, she has decided to return to her activities.”
The agency added, “Scheduled commercial shoots and other planned engagements will proceed without changes, and preparations for her album, photobook, and other promised projects are also continuing as planned.”
They continued, “We sincerely appreciate the unwavering support and love shown toward Nana, and we ask for your continued interest and encouragement.”
Previously, a man in his 30s broke into Nana’s home in Acheon-dong, Guri, around 6 AM on the 15th, armed with a weapon. He threatened and injured Nana and her mother while demanding money.
Nana woke up after hearing her mother’s screams and fought back. The two ultimately restrained the intruder by grabbing his arm and preventing him from moving before calling the police.
Nana’s mother was injured and received treatment, and Nana also sustained wounds that required medical care.
During the struggle, the intruder suffered a laceration to his jaw from the weapon. Police determined that Nana and her mother’s actions constituted legitimate self-defense and did not charge them.
The intruder has been arrested and handed over to prosecutors on charges of aggravated robbery and assault.
