BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has been selected as the cover star for the December issue of Elle magazine.
In the interview following her photoshoot, Jisoo shared that winter is her favorite season and revealed her plans for the coming months. She said, “While staying busy, December suddenly arrived. This winter, I want to spend it especially warmly. I don’t want to miss the snowfall though, so I’d love to stay at home wrapped in a cozy blanket and watch the snow fall outside.”
With BLACKPINK currently in the middle of their world tour 'DEADLINE', Jisoo also talked about one of her most memorable moments on tour. “Every time we perform ‘Stay,’ there’s this moment when BLINKs turn on their phone lights and move together. That moment is my favorite. I think it will stay with me for a very long time, and remembering it during tough times will give me so much strength.”
Since February, Jisoo has explored different forms of love through music, from her solo album 'AMORTAGE' to her new single “EYES CLOSED”. She said, “Most human emotions are connected to love, so naturally I end up talking about various types of love.” When asked about the most perfect form of love, she shared, “Perfect love doesn’t exist. I think the final stage of love is living with someone while understanding each other as much as possible, getting as close to perfect as we can.”
When asked whether she is doing anything to love herself better these days, she responded, “I’ve always cherished myself and taken good care of myself. I just hope I can continue living like this. When difficult moments come, I always have myself, so I hope I can stay strong and not be shaken by even the smallest breeze.”
