Singer G.NA has been sharing updates on her recent activities, drawing attention to the possibility of a return to her music career.
On October 8, G.NA posted a message on her social media account wishing fans a happy Chuseok, writing, “Merry Chuseok~ Stay healthy and happy always.” She also revealed that she is currently in Vietnam, sharing photos of herself enjoying her travels. In the images, G.NA sports a casual outfit and a cap, smiling brightly as she relaxes during her trip.
Earlier, on October 6, G.NA shared another post describing her day: “A day soaked in sunshine, mist, and little adventures. Niagara Falls was truly like a dream. The power and beauty of nature are always astonishing!” Alongside the post, she uploaded photos and videos from her trip. In one video, she cheerfully greets fans, saying, “Hello, this is G.NA! I’m at Niagara Falls right now.”
Born in 1987, G.NA rose to fame with hit songs such as "I’ll Get Lost, You Go Your Way," "Black & White," and "Top Girl" in 2010, earning widespread recognition.
However, in 2016, she faced legal issues related to overseas prostitution and received a fine of 2 million KRW (about 1,405 USD), leading her to effectively retire from the music industry and move to Canada.
Since then, updates on her life have been limited. Recently, she shared a video on her personal channel singing Ellie Goulding’s "Love Me Like You Do," stating, “I prepared a small gift. Swipe to see. I wanted to show that my heart is still singing. Although we’ve been apart for a while, I think now is the right timing. Let’s meet again,” hinting at a potential comeback.
In addition, G.NA shared her reflections on past struggles, writing, “The hardest thing wasn’t what happened, but the silence. I disappeared to survive, not to hide. I am no longer a scared girl. I am now defined by my choices, not my past. I have healed, grown, and reclaimed my voice. I sincerely thank my fans. I also understand those who have left.”
