Junjin of group Shinhwa has revealed that he and his wife Ryu Yi Seo are now planning to have a baby after five years of marriage.
On October 8, Junjin appeared on the YouTube channel 'A-Class Jang Young Ran ' in an episode titled “Jang Young-ran’s Crush Junjin♡Ryu Yi-seo Reveal Why They’ve Been Child-Free for 5 Years.”
When asked about their family plans, Junjin shared, “When we were dating, I thought having a child early would complete our family. But after getting married and spending every day together, that thought faded away—and suddenly, five years had passed. Now, I feel it’s time to try seriously.”
Ryu Yi Seo added that she recently visited a clinic for the first time about two weeks ago. Host Jang Young Ran encouraged the couple, saying, “You’re still young enough—1983 is a great year! You could have five kids!”
Junjin candidly admitted, “I think I was the one who was more hesitant. I wanted to be a young, friendly dad, but if we have a baby next year, I’ll be almost 70 when they become an adult. That fear made me delay the decision.”
Jang Young Ran responded with warmth, advising, “Many people regret not trying later in life. It’s great that you’ve decided to give it a shot.”
Junjin and Ryu Yi Seo tied the knot in 2020, and fans are cheering for the couple as they take this heartfelt new step in their marriage.
