The press conference for 'The First Ride' brought together Kang Ha Neul, Kim Young Kwang, Cha Eun Woo, Kang Young Seok, and Han Sunhwa to introduce their new comedy about friendship and youth.
The film follows longtime friends on their first overseas trip, capturing the genuine fun, unexpected mishaps, and nostalgic moments of traveling together.

Each actor plays a distinct character: Kang Ha Neul as the determined one, Kim Young Kwang as the cheerful one, Cha Eun Woo as the handsome one, Kang Young Seok as the sleepy-eyed one, and Han Sunhwa as the lovable one. Their chemistry creates much of the film’s humor and charm.
Kang Ha Neul plays Tae Jeong, a parliamentary aide who appears intellectual and meticulous but becomes clumsy in front of friends. He reflected that the role reminded him of real-life friendships and praised the script’s playful, vivid scenes. Director Nam Dae Jung, who reunites with Kang Ha Neul after 'Love Reset,' highlighted the actor’s ability to balance intelligence with comedy.
The cast shared that filming felt like traveling with friends. Han Sunhwa expressed gratitude for the collaborative environment, and Kim Young Kwang recalled feeling energized by the fun on set. Cha Eun Woo, currently serving in the military, sent a video message hoping viewers relive school-day nostalgia through the film.
'The First Ride' is set to premiere on October 29.
