
Acclaimed supporting actor Jo Woo Jin has lost his father.
Jo Woo Jin's father passed away at the age of 81 on September 11. The funeral is being held at the Daegu Fatima Hospital, Funeral Hall 402, with the cremation ceremony scheduled for 10 AM on September 13. The final resting place will be at Myeongbok Park, Seongseon-yeong.
Jo Woo Jin is reportedly receiving condolences from visitors alongside his family while mourning their loss.
The actor made his debut in 1999 with the play 'The Last Embrace' and gained widespread recognition in 2015 for his role as Jo Sang Moo in the film 'Inside Men.' Since then, he has showcased his exceptional acting in numerous films, including '1987: When the Day Comes,' 'Default,' 'King Maker,' and more.
In the television sector, Jo Wo Jin left a lasting impression in hits such as 'Goblin/ Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' and 'Narco-Saints.'
He has earned critical acclaim for his performances, winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for 'Default' and subsequently securing Best Supporting Actor awards at the Baeksang Arts Awards for 'Kingmaker' and 'Narco-Saints,' cementing his reputation as a reliable and compelling actor.
Jo Woo Jin is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix film 'Mantis,' releasing on September 26, and in the film 'Boss,' scheduled for release during the Chuseok holiday.
