The premiere of KBS2’s ‘The Seasons – 10CM’s Petting Time’ on Sept. 5, 2025 KST opened with warm congratulations from celebrated guests including Lee Chan Hyuk, Lee Seok Hoon, Ko Young Bae, and Epik High, along with veteran entertainer Song Eun Yi.
During the opening, 10CM performed ‘Petting Time’, leaping into the audience to receive playful pats directly from fans. He shared: “Ever since I began making music, I dreamed of standing on this stage. As an MC, I want to understand musicians better and comfort hearts from a place that feels 10cm closer.”
Lee Chan Hyuk, who previously hosted ‘AKMU’s One Night and One Morning’, showcased a theatrical stage with ‘Endangered Love’. He advised the new MC: “Don’t hold back your body—you should even be ready to kneel.” Kneeling beside him, 10CM replied, “I can do even more,” drawing laughter. Lee Su Hyun also made a surprise visit to the studio to cheer them on.
Later, 10CM and Lee Chan Hyuk delivered a duet of ‘Hug Me’, with 10CM embracing his partner mid-song and reflecting, “This is the first time I’ve ever had an experience like this on stage.” He followed with a lively cover of ‘Vivid LaLa Love’, imitating Lee’s signature styling.
Lee Seok Hoon, affectionately known as a powerhouse vocalist, sang his new track ‘I Became an Adult’. He was soon joined by longtime friend Ko Young Bae, who entered humorously wearing a sash that read, “I feel uneasy that 10CM is an MC.” The two shared lighthearted banter with 10CM before teaming up for stages of ‘Wrongful Meeting’ and ‘Friend’, mixing humor with nostalgia.
Epik High ignited the stage with ‘Born Hater’ and revealed they had flown in from their Asia tour specifically to support 10CM. Sharing a past anecdote, 10CM said he once nearly featured on Tablo’s ‘Fever’s End’ album, but the collaboration fell through. Tablo clarified: “The song I asked from 10CM wasn’t included on the album, and I never gave it to anyone else either.”
10CM then premiered his unreleased track ‘Complex’, officially inviting Epik High to collaborate. The group enthusiastically agreed, jokingly dubbing the partnership “10pikhigh.” They later performed ‘It’s Cold’ together, with 10CM confidently handling Lee Hi’s parts.
Senior MC Song Eun Yi encouraged him with warm advice: “Believe in yourself. Your wit hasn’t been shown yet, but once it’s revealed, it will pour out like a flood. For singing, you’re 10CM, but for hosting, you’re 10Sense.” She added humorously, “Just keep your distance from Ko Young Bae—he’s the root of all evil,” sending the audience into laughter. She later performed ‘Reaching You’ with 10CM, then closed with Park Sung Shin’s ‘One More Time’ as a wish for the long run of the show.
Packed with standout performances and heartfelt talk segments, ‘The Seasons–10CM’s Petting Time’ airs every Friday at 10 p.m. KST on KBS2.
