Sung Han Bin and Seok Matthew of ZEROBASEONE appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Ggondaehee’, released on Sept. 6, 2025 KST.
During the episode, Seok Matthew shared an anecdote about his bandmate: “I also have a story. Han Bin hyung always has this clean image, but whenever we’re driving and go over a speed bump, he makes a strange noise.” When Sung Han Bin asked what he meant, Seok Matthew teased, “He pretends not to know.”
Sung Han Bin then explained: “When you hit a speed bump hard, it hurts, so among us, it became a little meme to make each other laugh.” Acting out the moment, he mimicked a female voice with exaggerated sounds like “Euhhh” and “Ughhh.”
When host Kim Dae Hee pointed out that it might be inappropriate, Sung Han Bin replied: “Since I’m here on ‘Ggondaehee’, I’ll do it once more.” He repeated the act and added “Yami” in a high-pitched tone, before laughing and saying, “I’ve let go of everything.”
After the episode aired, the segment drew negative responses online. Later, on a fan communication platform, Sung Han Bin posted a personal apology: “Oh no, I went too far on ‘Ggondaehee’. There was absolutely no bad intention, but maybe I tried too hard to get more variety content. If any ZEROSE felt uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize. I’m sorry. I’ll work on expressing myself better.”
