Earlier, it was officially announced that Park Bom will be temporarily halting her activities with 2NE1.
Following the announcement from Park Bom's agency, D-Nation, CL's latest post has garnered much attention. On August 3, CL posted photos on her Instagram account with the caption, "LAST DANCE."
The photos CL shared were taken during the halftime stage of the '2025 Coupang Play Series' second match between Tottenham Hotspur FC and Newcastle United FC, held on August 3 at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo-gu, Seoul. On that day, CL joined members Park Bom, Dara, and Minzy, performing together as 2NE1.
Some fans speculated that CL's post hinted there may not be another full 2NE1 performance with Park Bom for the foreseeable future. Others argued that it simply symbolized Son Heung Min's farewell match with Tottenham Hotspur before his transfer.
Meanwhile, Park Bom announced a temporary suspension of activities due to health deterioration. Her agency announced on August 6, "We would like to inform you that Park Bom will not be participating in 2NE1’s upcoming schedules." The agency added, "Given the strong support fans have shown for 2NE1’s complete group activities, it is heavy-hearted to deliver this news. After receiving medical advice that she requires sufficient rest and stability, we reached this unavoidable decision following in-depth discussions."
As a result, Park Bom's final performance before halting activities was 2NE1's halftime stage at the '2025 Coupang Play Series' on August 3.
