In a move that’s unusually daring for a rookie group, BigHit Music’s CORTIS has transformed their pre-debut single “GO!” into a complete showcase of their own creative work.
The five members, Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho, handled nearly every aspect themselves, including producing, composing, writing, directing, and choreographing the entire project.

The music video was directed by CORTIS in collaboration with IDIOTS. Filmed in Los Angeles, it embraces a raw, spontaneous style with 360-degree shots and candid street scenes that capture the group’s playful, unfiltered energy.
The choreography, also created by the members, trades strict formations for freer, more expressive movement that matches the song’s upbeat, carefree mood.

While it’s not unusual in K-pop for idols to take part in their own music production and songwriting, with groups like BTS, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, KISS OF LIFE, and BOYNEXTDOOR doing the same, it is rare for a rookie team to take control of both the music and the visual direction from start to finish.
With “GO!”, CORTIS is making it clear they are more than just performers. They are creators with a vision. Their official debut single, “What You Want”, arrives on August 18, and anticipation is already building for what they will deliver next.
