TXT’s Soobin made a special appearance as a one-day weathercaster.
On July 22, Soobin appeared on the live broadcast of YTN’s 'NEW SQUARE 2PM,' delivering the day’s weather report alongside meteorologist Lee Hye Min.
Appearing in an outdoor studio, Soobin addressed the intense heat following the recent monsoon rains. To emphasize the sweltering weather, he even showed melted ice water as a visual aid, demonstrating a steady and confident delivery throughout the segment.
TXT released their 4th full album, 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,' on July 21. Soobin touched on the album’s message during the broadcast and sent comforting words to those affected by recent flood damage.
He concluded, “I hope our songs can bring some comfort to those enduring difficult times.” Soobin also showcased choreography from the title track, “Beautiful Strangers.”
Reflecting on the experience, he shared, “I didn’t realize how challenging it is to deliver the weather live on air. It was meaningful to be able to share important, real-time information with viewers.” Meanwhile, TXT’s 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION' sold a remarkable 1,428,097 copies on its first day alone, earning the group their first Million Seller certification.
